Condition / Completeness Guidelines

These guidelines help sellers choose accurate condition and completeness selections. All selections remain subject to verification upon receipt.

Overview

These condition and completeness selections are seller representations used to prepare a preliminary offer. All selections remain subject to verification after receipt and inspection.

Like New

Use Like New when the items are exceptionally clean, fully functional, and show little to no wear. Original case, manual, and/or packaging will always be present for items in Like New condition.

Very Good

Use Very Good when items are clean, fully functional, and show only light normal wear consistent with careful ownership.

Good

Use Good when the items show mild to moderate signs of wear from normal use but no signs of neglect or damage and remain fully functional.

Acceptable

Use Acceptable when the items show heavier wear, slight cosmetic flaws, missing non-essential extras, or similar condition issues, but still 100% functional (scratched discs).

Poor

Use Poor when the items have heavy wear or functional concerns. Poor-condition items may receive reduced value or no value after inspection.

Disc Only / Loose / Incomplete

Choose Disc Only, loose cartridge, or incomplete-style selections when original packaging, manuals, inserts, cases, or other completeness elements are missing.

Hardware Functional / Not Fully Tested / Non-Working

If hardware is being submitted, the seller should describe its known state as accurately as possible:

  • Functional means it powers on and works as expected based on the seller's knowledge.
  • Not Fully Tested means the seller hasn't tested or can't confirm full functionality.
  • Non-Working means the seller knows the hardware has a material issue.

Verification on Receipt

GamerCloset may adjust the final outcome if inspection shows the submitted condition or completeness does not materially match what was represented during offer submission.
