How It Works
A straightforward way to sell your collection
Upload photos, review a preliminary offer, ship after acceptance, and get paid after final review.
Step 1
Upload photos
Take a few clear photos of your video game collection to get started.
Step 2
Preliminary offer
GamerCloset recognizes what it can see and generates a preliminary offer fast.
Step 3
Review your offer
Review the offer and decide whether to move forward.
Step 4
Ship after acceptance
After you accept, GamerCloset guides shipping and covers the label.
Step 5
Get paid after review
After delivery and final review, payout moves through the final handoff.
What sellers like about the flow
- You do not need to build marketplace listings one game at a time.
- You review the offer before you ship anything.
- Shipping and payout progress stay visible in one place after you sign in.
What happens after upload
- GamerCloset reads the submitted photos and attempts a conservative valuation.
- Unsupported, unsafe, or unclear items are handled cautiously instead of inflating the offer.
- Some submissions may pause for manual review before an offer is shown.
Shipping
- You ship only after accepting an offer.
- The handoff page collects packed box details before the label step.
- Shipment progress stays attached to the same submission.
Payout
- Payout moves forward after delivery and final review.
- The submission page tracks inspection, payout-in-process, and paid states.
- Donation selections do not create a payout.
Updated offers
- If the received shipment materially differs from the accepted offer, GamerCloset may issue an updated offer.
- A lower updated offer requires seller approval before payout is completed.
- If no material difference is found, the accepted offer can proceed through payout.
